WHEN: 1st & 3rd Wednesday of Every Month at 10:00AM MST
WHAT: Covers the basics of using VSP and BVM Pro, including setting up a project, entering the historical financials, understanding the financial analysis calculations, and completing the valuation calculations. Explains how to use all of our valuation databases. Also covers interaction between VSP/BVM Pro and Microsoft® Excel.
Basic Report Writer Class
WHEN: 1st & 3rd Thursday of Every Month at 10:00AM MST
WHAT: Covers the basics of using Business Valuation Report Writer and Professional Reports Writer, including creating a new report, linking to a valuation project file, using optional content, and correcting command errors. Explains how to use Microsoft® Word to edit reports, both within and outside of the BVRW/PRW framework. Also covers the differences between reports and templates, and explains how to create a custom template.
Express Business Valuation
WHEN: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of Every Month at 10:00AM MST
WHAT:Introduces EBV and explains how it differs from VSP and BVM Pro. Explains which types of valuations can be completed using EBV. Covers the basics of using EBV, including setting up a project, using our valuation databases, and creating a report.
Advanced Report Writer Class
WHEN: 2nd & 4th Thursday of Every Month at 10:00AM MST
WHAT: Covers advanced topics for Business Valuation Report Writer and Professional Reports Writer. Explains how to create a template from an existing document. Covers the differences between editing a report and editing a template, and the differences between working in BVRW/PRW and Microsoft® Word. Explains how to link a report or template to a custom worksheet, and how to work with multiple spreadsheet files. Covers document formatting using Word's styles, and explains Word's footnote and endnote features.
